Participants should review these frequently asked questions before event day. Additional questions may be added as final logistics are confirmed.

Volunteer assignments may have different age requirements depending on the role. Applicants under 18 should identify their age on the form so the event team can determine an appropriate assignment. Any role involving wine service or alcohol-related activity must follow applicable age requirements and event policies.

Yes, volunteers should review the orientation information provided by the BBA and attend any required briefing for their assigned role. Final instructions, check-in locations, and shift information will be provided before the event.

Wear comfortable, event-appropriate clothing and closed-toe or comfortable walking shoes. If a volunteer shirt, badge, or other identifying item is provided, please wear it during your assigned shift.

Shift lengths depend on the assignment and event needs. Please provide your availability on the volunteer application. The event team will confirm your final shift before the Wine Walk.

Yes. Groups are welcome to apply. Each volunteer should submit their own information, and you may note on the application that you would like to be assigned together. We will do our best to accommodate group requests.

Yes. Approved volunteers will receive assignment details, check-in information, and any required orientation instructions before the event.

No. Volunteers should not consume alcohol while actively serving in an assigned volunteer role. Once a volunteer has been released from duty, any participation in the Wine Walk must follow the same ticketing, age, and event rules as other attendees.

The Bluffs Wine Walk is the Bluffs Business Association’s signature annual fundraising event that brings together local businesses, residents, and visitors for an afternoon of wine tasting, shopping, dining, and community engagement throughout Belleair Bluffs.
The event has been recognized as one of the most popular community events in the Tampa Bay area and has been voted a Readers’ Choice favorite by local publications.

Event Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

The Wine Walk takes place throughout participating businesses along the West Bay Drive corridor and surrounding areas in Belleair Bluffs, Florida.
Participants check in at the designated registration location and then travel between participating businesses.

The event is hosted by the Bluffs Business Association (BBA), a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering local businesses through education, leadership, and networking.

Participants purchase a Wine Walk ticket and receive:


  • Official Wine Walk wristband
  • Commemorative wine glass (while supplies last)
  • Event map and tasting guide
  • Access to participating tasting locations
  • Entry into select event promotions and activities

Participants then visit participating businesses and enjoy wine samples while discovering local shops, restaurants, and services.

We recommend purchasing early, as this event has sold out in previous years.

Yes.
All Wine Walk participants consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age or older and present a valid government-issued photo ID during check-in.
No exceptions.

Absolutely.
While wine tasting is limited to participants 21 and older, the event atmosphere is family-friendly and many businesses welcome visitors of all ages.

We recommend bringing:


  • Valid photo ID
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Event ticket or registration confirmation
  • Mobile phone for event updates and photos
  • Small bag for purchases from local businesses

Yes.
Public parking is available throughout Belleair Bluffs and nearby areas. Additional parking information and recommendations will be provided before the event.
We encourage carpooling, rideshare services, or designating a driver.

The Bluffs Wine Walk is a rain-or-shine event.
Because most tasting locations are inside participating businesses, the event can continue during most weather conditions.

Ticket purchases are generally non-refundable.
If the event must be canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, updates will be provided through official BBA communication channels.
